Santiago Sierra’s latest performance piece acutely personifies the 6-year war in Syria. Over eight days, pairs of Arabic speakers read aloud the names of people killed in the conflict. The performance takes place in four locations following an East to West path, from Tel Aviv to Vienna, London, and finally Buenos Aires.
